Was this not a true statement? Are there reasons fans aren't allowed to rush the field? He most likely needs to be disciplined, and probably will be. Whatever punishment he gets, no matter how harsh, isn't likely to be harsh enough to meet with your approval,though.

Sure, it's a true statement. But so is "the girl that got raped that night had a really short skirt on, her choice had a consequence"
And by the way, wearing a short skirt is illegal just as much as rushing the field is - which is to say that neither are illegal according to the actual law.
