You are now getting into what flags mean to many different cultures. THE Confederate flag was also the face and image of a number of hate groups for over a hundred years. THAT Confederate flag has been at many a rally denoting white power and racism. If we are discussing the power of a flag as the face of a cause, that Confederate flag has been waving over much more than capital buildings in the South.

Well yeah and it was the flag of a country solely founded to keep slaves
