There are gonna be 12 teams in the playoffs so your regular season isn't that big of a deal so I think even moreso the non conference rivalries will be kept especially if they stay at 8 conference games. You might as well fill the spots with your old rival. So what if OU lost to okie St? i think that was an issue with some teams in the past. Look how many times Bowden derailed the Gators seasons. Now it doesn't matter. Just be in the top 12 (remember its highest ranked conference champs for auto bids) which isn't that difficult. A couple or even 3 losses and you're still in.
