It might not be as pronounced as the 90s or whatever arbitrary starting point you wish to pick but it still clearly exists.

There's a finite signing size, and getting 17 of your recruits from CFB hotbeds is comparable to most SEC schools.

In 2019 Alabama only got 20 from those same states.

I know it feels better if we pretend that ND just "didn't have the athletes" but it's not that simple and it's not 1985 anymore. ND signs from all over the country, just like OSU or USC.
