This really isn’t accurate at all. The last 10 seasons, ND has had an avg SOS ranked 23rd. That’s not SECW tough, but it’s definitely far from “shite.”

He also averaged the #13 class over that time, which is comparable or better than everybody but Bama in the west.
So there's also the myth that he didn't have the players necessary to beat teams like Pitt or Florida State.
