It is downright unamerican to tell someone that they can't use their name, etc, to earn money.
If it is reined in, it will be due to the market deciding it's not worth it to dish out big contracts.

You fix it by having a high school draft because these kids do not want to go to college to learn in the first place and the whole thing has been a ruse for decades.

Being a big fan of capitalism, normally I would agree with you but these payments are not necessarily market-driven. Much of NIL money will come from wealthy alums with a purely emotional motive.
