Race is a false equivalence to this. Racism as a whole sucks. However, this situation and transgender ideology in general has all the makings of a society with mental health issues. They argue preventing suicide is why they allow these surgeries and that there were historically closeted trans that killed themselves because of it. Well then why is suicide at an all-time high today? Because society is overloaded with mental headcases.

I'm pretty sure the suicide rate for post-op transexuals is just as high or higher. Emboldening this movement doesn't quell the suicide rate, nor does it actually address the root of why the person is suicidal. And there are plenty of articles readily available of those who went through the surgery and the regret they had thereafter. No to mention, there can be a whole lot of sometimes lifelong health issues caused by transition hormone therapy.
