Does Athens claim the Black Crowes too? I thought that’s where they got popular

You gotta give the Crowes to South Carolina. Athens had a great music scene in the 80s and 90s, especially if you liked alternative or prog rock but the Crowes don't belong on the list of Athens bands.

The Black Crowes were from Atlanta, formed there in 1984.
