Yep, geography and demographics don't lie. The 3 most populated SEC states have a combined 157 blue chippers in the 2023 class. The 3 most populated B1G states (and this includes CA for UCLA/USC) has a combined 39.
Even the state of AL has over twice as many as OH now.

Nick Saban was from up North, one of the main reasons he took the job at LSU was the recruiting numbers (especially per capita) were near the top for the state of Louisiana.
