Horns def learned some things from A&M and seriously stepped up NIL effort. So the comment about buying players is legit but this is NOT a criticism. It is the truth about NIL college athletics as a whole.

Those that want to not only survive but be competitive at the highest levels MUST start dishing out the cash.

And luckily A&M and Texas are the two richest athletic programs in the US.

So everyone else better get use to seeing Ags and Horns getting plenty of 4 and 5 stars.

My question for sips is if their coaching staff can properly evaluate their position needs and equally important actually develop these players. Tom Herman had some highly ranked classes....where is he and those players now? All up to Sark. Be interesting to see how things settle out. Personally, I think it is great to see both UT and A&M taking a strong lead in the world of NIL athletics. More SEC teams can hate on these monster Texas university systems and get more and more scared about a turning of the "tide". Both with immensely well respect academic offerings, too.

Please refrain from inferring that Texas and A&M are alike in their approach towards the changing landscape in college athletics.

While we are both large Texas universities that rank towards the top in Athletic Department revenue; that's were the similarity ends.

Buying players is not the same as NIL.
