Your issue vs the right is simply that a full term fetus, unborn, has no autonomy. Others disagree with you regarding that autonomy and a vote in your state will determine the law.

It allows people and their elected representatives to decide the issue, which is how the Constitution was designed.

Regardless of whether you think 2020 is legit, there are a substantial number of states that voted for Trump - big (or Biden - big). National policies will inevitably run contrary to the wishes of one or the other.

This allows those states to decide matters for themselves. If the population doesn't like it, they will elect people who will change it.
