Said as much on the Jordy Cullota show this morning. He was in Destin all week and while they didn’t take an official vote, the movement is in favor of the 1-7 schedule model with no divisions, 1 permanent opponent, and roaring the other 14 schools every other year, with a full home and home rotation every 4 years.

Main influences at the moment are around maximizing SEC bowl/playoff berths, which the majority now believe is best accomplished via 1-7.

Some secondary rivalry games would not be played annually under this plan, but with 4 OOC games left they can still be scheduled out of conference if the schools want.

Official decision expected late summer.
