All universities are primarily liberal (maybe save Liberty) I’m not sure why you’d think otherwise? In fact most are self described as liberal arts colleges.

UGA has a well rounded athletic department, 47 National Championships in 11 sports.

Baseball is no more consequential from a revenue or viewership standpoint than golf, track, tennis gymnastics etc. somewhat because of metal bats and minor league baseball. I like college baseball, but football is the stand alone sport in college athletics, basketball is a distant, distant second. I’d also venture a guess that your womens basketball program is in the black far more than your baseball team historically.
