They fell from 2nd to 6th, just like UF did. Dont think they lost to a backup QB and RB though. Thats a big no no to football people.

This goes for the RB that got hurt too.
Looking at the stats only, you'd be wrong here too. But I know that doesn't tell the whole story. So an LSU fan would have to chime in here.

No - they didn't They lost by 30 to the #15 team though. A team that lost to Fresno State at home.

He wasn't.
The guy who didnt throw a single TD all season long was not better than the guy who was #18 in the nation/3rd in SEC in efficiency.

Well - that's weird. Because he was better. He was better on that night and had a better collegiate career. UT had no answer for his QB draw.

Vol wrong again.
Their starter was #2 in the SEC in rushing.
In fact, he had more yards in 2001 than the backup had in his career.

His passer rating vs the Vols was lower than the starter's passer rating. Dude sucked arse as proven by 5/15 passing for 67 yards.

Wrong yet again.
Never averaged more than 4.3 ypc.

Wrong yet again. He won the game with his legs. Pretty much confirms you didn't actually watch the game. Were you born yet?

Only one SEC RB had more overall yards and none came close to overall TD's.

And the next year he was supplanted by the backup who went on to average 4.8 ypc and was a better receiver.

Ouch, this makes your case even worse. A sucky passer, who was no threat to pass, ran all over the Vols. No wonder the voters dropped the Vols so far.

I take it you've never seen a team gameplan for one QB then the backup QB comes in that you haven't prepared for and has success. It's ok. Watch more football?

Nothing about the next year is relevant, especially when you account for the ACL tear.

Wow he rushed for over 2056 yards in 2001? He must be in the HOF right?

5.4 ypc in 2001.

Nothing major about the game plan changed from one Qb to the other.
Voters wouldnt have cared even if it did because there is no excuse losing to a 8-3 team without its star QB and RB.

Other than Mauck scrambling up the middle.

When the starter was 1st team all-SEC in 2001, you have zero argument to make, which you have proven with this desperate post.

Says the guy who can't google simple stats and thought he had more yards in 2001 than the backup had in his career.
Or are we just going to ignore that like we did with your Illinois stat?
