Missouri added grad transfer quarterback Jack Abraham as a preferred walk-on, Abraham announced Monday morning on Twitter.

Abraham, 24 (25 in October), will have a chance to compete for the starting quarterback job after transferring from Mississippi State, where he did not play a snap, missing all of the 2021 season because of injury. He arrived in Starkville last year after three at Southern Miss.

Maybe he'll sign with AARP

Likely going for an experienced QB to be a good influence on the younger guys and be a steady hand in case of emergency.

He’s not bad and is a great pickup this late in the portal. He will probably be the starting QB. He has good arm and experience to play in Drinks offense.

He should have stayed at Southern Miss instead of transferring to Miss St.
