How can they suspend someone for just for being accused of something? Especially when a grand jury declined the suit?

Anybody can file suit on anyone else, for anything.

So if a big game is coming up, I can go bet the farm on one team and then go file a sexual abuse charge against the other team's best player and have him suspended?

How is his suspension even a consideration?
