Played in 9 NCGs at Bama
Texas: 2009
LSU: 2011
Notre Dame: 2012
Clemson: 2015, 2016, 2018
Georgia: 2017, 2021
Ohio State: 2020
Not like it's the same old team every time.
And if he wants to win it all every year, just beat different teams to do it, that kind of says I want to be the only team that's considered elite.
The best way to answer this question is "Parity is good for the sport, but I'm paid to do what's good for Bama."

I think he just means that he would like to stay at the top but wants different teams to beat.
While true to some extent, there is truth is his statement. Bama has lost to Georgia and Clemson in the NCG and their road to get there in the SEC has not been a cakewalk by any measure.
But with their unprecedented 2022 class, A&M has proven that NIL deals have potential for a single school to dominate simply by having more financial clout which is definitely not a good thing for college football.

I think he means, he wants other coaches to work harder. He’s tired of finding all the loopholes.
