They were CLEARLY stalling and the fans knew it. Threw a couple of pitches, stood around then threw another in an effort to have the next reliever warmed up. Even the plate umpire knew what they were doing. It was BY FAR the longest “check on an injured pitcher” delay ever seen.
Glad they left the little “fall down with a cramp before they run another play” pitcher in though. The next pitch he threw is still flying somewhere near Johnson City.

Eh they weren’t booing the pitcher. Regardless of injury or not you can’t take 5 minutes to make a decision. They were doing a little stalling to quell the momentum. It did not work

So when your player gets hurt, its okay to Chest bump an umpire and everyone else is assholes for making fun of the kid
but when an opponent gets hurt...they are faking it....
