Based on what? Y’all were fortunate that Bowers could carry your passing game because neither 5* produced.

Do you think he is better than 4th string at UGA? He might be. Looks every bit as good as Bowers. Similar size, ability, and recruit ranking.

You must be so pissed that the national champs are reloading elite talent behind amazing players like Bowers.

But then Arik Gilbert looked just as good. Darnell just can't stay healthy with his big feet, but no doubt he would be elite if he played for shite team like the vols that didn't have a Bowers in his way.

Is be better than 4th string at UGA… UGA has never really effectively used more than one in the passing game. So he will likely be the 2nd string TE for at least a chunk of the year. Gilbert is mentally fragile (flaked 2 straight years) and Washington has yet to show in game potential. So if dude can stay health and avoid a breakdown he will be 2nd string, by default.

Bowers was a pleasant surprise for UGA fans. Because the 2 elite top shelf 5 star can’t miss guys haven’t done anything at UGA, but neither did the 5* can’t miss WRs. Washington is going into his 3rd year with 17 receptions, Gilbert might shock the world by not quitting again. Bowers is the only passing threat UGA has. That Monken AirRaid is putting up 250 yards a game and almost 1/3 of that was Bowers.

UGAs D was deep and the schedule was tailor made thanks to a great combination of 1st year and last year coaches and a rematch in a playoff they (in my opinion*) probably didn’t deserve (didn’t win the conference). But you always said it would take a mountain of luck to be given a shot at a title and you called it right for UGA.

*if a team can’t win its division and conference it shouldn’t be in a 4 team playoff. This opinion is one I’ve held and stated for as long as a 4 team playoff has existed. I’ve also shown how I would select 4 teams for the playoff in a tiered fashion.

Edit/ the last word is yours. You will not get a response from me, it’s pointless to discuss this with you.
