Yup. Back when the city only had one high school - heck, only one school at every level. My older brother got into the "new high school" when it was built in the early 90s, so I was basically taking classes in a brand new building - a far cry from the miserable middle school we had. That was a dump. I think the building was repurposed into municipal offices or something.
