The Native tribes in Oklahoma are in great shape other than suddenly having to expand their Police Departments, crime labs, and etc. I spent a summer on the Navajo reservation 3 or 4 decades ago. Interesting as hell but depressing. But if you like ancient ruins that area has them all over the place.
