yep I 100% agree. I think though College AD's have made their bed and decided that the rich crowd is who they want and they will give them any amenity possible to get them there. They clear out seats for new boxes, etc.

If any program could convert their entire stadium seating to one large luxury box for Elon Musk and get paid $100 million to do it, they would. Money is ruining the game...been that way awhile... just accelerating the last couple of years. Players should play for the full ride scholarship and coaching salaries should be capped at $1 million a year, plus incentives for actually winning. Any early buyout is 2 year's base salary...so $2 million max. Ticket prices would then come down... it's insane face values for some games are well over $100.

As for actually attending vs watching on TV... nothing beats being there in the atmosphere, and I have a 100 inch HD setup, BUT there are limits... biggest factors for me on attending vs TV:

1. Quality of opponent
2. Parking
3. Kickoff time

Bama has upgraded the future home OOC schedules... which is great...but I'm not going to a September afternoon game no matter who they're playing. Brutal heat usually. All September games should be at night...but I know TV has to fill time slots.
