Most of them are not that dedicated, which is why they won't make it in the NF

You have contradicted yourself since most of the kids growing up to play sports will not play football at any level in college much less get millions.

The same contradiction griping about most of them will not play in the NFL. The very best of the best play in the NFL. The worse NFL team would blow out the College Natty team every year, Which is one of the reasons the NFL stopped playing the college all star team. It was a fun matchup until it started becoming obvious athletes could ruin a career over a pointless game that was starting to be non-competitive.

The buck starts with the head coach of a college football and a handful of recruiters. Not to mention many schools buy reports from outside companies that evaluate talent giving the scouts more time to talk to their HSA coach, Principle, and or teachers and parents. Salaries, bills, and special events cost money. They spend all of that money to help bring in more income for the school.

It is pointless to cry about the boosters since they wrote the check knowing full well it was a donation to their school or a tax write-of. The reality is they didn't actually donate the money in most circumstances. Sometimes they did not have enough room to write it all off but they still wrote the check. It is another right we have in America, I can spend my money however I want other than earning as a criminal.

I presume you mean the Naval Academy football team. They spend more money than A and M on recruiting but fortunately, the Military budget covers most of it. And even with a debate of how much tax money the Pentagon should get is debated nobody of any value to America wants to dismantle the Military. they get TV revenue and conference money too.
