That's a good. point. Another thing to consider is he stands to make a least a $1.4M signing bonus if he's picked last in the first round and up to $7.7 is he's the first pick of the MLB draft. A couple years ago, it would be hard to compete against that kind of money. Nowadays, I guess it depends on what kind of NIL deal he can get.
