The USA and many other countries allow dual citizenship, China does not. China has a law that does not allow Chinese to hold a dual citizenship. She was also questioned about it directly and basically refused to answer i( and side stepped the question as hand. I believe the issue most people have is that she was born in America not China, meaning she is a United States citizen not a Chinese national. So I’m order for her to compete she would have had to apply for a citizenship which in turn means she holds a dual citizenship(which China does not allow). Then when she asked if she rejoiced her citizenship and didn’t answer. Also if she wanted to represent China fine I don’t have a problem with it. But don’t use the American freedoms and the elite training she got from Americans only to go to China. If she thought so much of her country then why is it she rather had trained in the United States with American trainers?
