This is another reason why players may not tell the truth. These kids have seen how Auburn fambly can turn against them.
Here's the most appalling thing about all that.
The guys that DID speak out (Smoke Monday, Kobe, etc) were extremely fair and rational in their comments. Not one of them said ANYTHING about it being "too hard" or "too much work", nor did their complaints revolve around the work culture under Harsin. They even complemented his ability as a coach. To call someone a pussy or soft because they voiced something that has been repeated up and down by everyone, even while he was at Boise State (that he doesn't know how to build relationships and doesn't come off like he cares about the well-being of others) is pathetic.
You have "fans" blasting former players who did nothing but voice honest critique. And their critiques were actually very mild (apart from Lee Hunter).
I literally saw someone on here make fun of Smoke Monday because he said that Harsin never even met or talked to his parents. As if Harsin is CORRECT about that situation. Here's the reality to that: they have a Zoom call set-up with players' parents. Harsin does NOT attend these meetings. Instead, Brad Larrondo (his assistant AD) comes on and speaks on his behalf. Why the frick would their parents want to speak to Brad Larrondo? Recruiting is literally getting into households and convincing the parents of ~18 year old kids that you'll care for and develop their children, and yet some on here want to support a guy who's personality immediately concludes that he'll never succeed in recruiting.
By the way; Shaun Shivers is neither a bad kid, nor is he a lazy "pussy". The guy is the definition of a ball of hardened steel. He's out there on Twitter making innuendo about Harsin. These are NOT all lazy snowflakes.
