I think that was still a much better decision than Mel Tucker. I think MSU is about to be on the hook for Mel Tucker’s fat contract. UT wouldn’t have been able to fire him, because racism. Or whatever.

Agree - that contract after the following results....

- win @ Northwestern (3-9) by 17
- win vs Youngstown State (1AA) by 28
- win @ Miami (7-5) by 21
- win vs Nebraska (3-9) by 3 (OT)
- win vs Western Kentucky (9-5) by 17
- win @ Rutgers (5-8) by 18
- win @ Indiana (2-10) by 5
- win vs Michigan (12-2) by 4

......is one of the most insane things I've ever seen, in a sport that does tons of insane things.

He beat Michigan (in a game they were outgained by 160 yards), 2 average teams (Miami/WKU) and 5 dog turds. And they gave him $100M for it.
