I remember being so fricking pissed when we “botched” the Rich Rod hire. I had a very heated discussion with my dad about how shitty of a decision it was to “low ball” Rich Rod just to “beg an NFL a-hole to come be our coach.”

That was when I lost all hope and just accepted that we'd never win anything again. I accepted the fact that we were going to hire Jim Grobe or Paul Johnson. Then a fraternity brother kept telling us all that Saban was still in play and he had to leave the house because people were literally on the verge of kicking his arse because nobody wanted to hear that shite anymore

At least it was cut and dried for you guys fairly quickly.

Do you know how hard it has been since 2005 to go from Hate the hire/Love the hire/Fire the hire on an almost annual basis...WHILE winning two natty's along the way? If being Bi-Polar were contagious, I would've caught (and been cured) that shite multiple times.
