What is really the difference as far as the on campus experience? With an OV Auburn pays their travel etc, UOV they pay it?

OV is a whole planned out weekend. Arrive Friday afternoon, dinner at a restaurant on AU’s dime, stay at AU hotel. Saturday full of tours/presentations with lunch in the middle, maybe an activity depending on the kid (like bowling), dinner in the Broadway Club of the stadium. Sunday is coaches meetings and lunch at the complex or a to go box depending on flight/departure time.

UOV’s are drive down on your own dime, usually a cramming all the meetings and tours into 6-8 hours, then depart for home. All meals paid for by the kid. They can pay something like $30 for lodging to stay on a current athlete’s couch.

If you come in more than 2 UOV’s, you’ve seen everything and are just bonding.
