Not really anymore. The guy LSU got to leave Riley and USC after working for him at OU is getting big money. Many of the DL coaches now are in the $600K-$800K range.
Georgia DL coach Tray Scott just received a $150K raise to $750K.
Auburn DL coach Nick Eason left for Clemson. His deal with Auburn was $700K for 2 years. He's getting $750K at Clemson on a 3-year deal.
Clemson DL coach Todd Bates left for Oklahoma. $750K per year for 3-years.
Alabama DL coach who the hired from Ole Miss last year got $700K for the first year of a 3 year deal.
Rodney Garner got $550K last year and rises to $625K this year at Tennessee after making $650K at Auburn.
Jimmy Lindsey - $350K from South Carolina.
Anwar Stewart - $300K from Kentucky. Derrick LeBlanc was getting $325K when we hired him from Kentucky.

Cool, but how many 4 and 5 stars have those people landed? I don’t have any problem paying a dude money, but if they aren’t landing top talent, I don’t want to get swindled.
Also some of those programs like Florida fired a coach, who just 1 year prior would have been up for an extension.
