That article was complete bullshite & gives them way too much credit. There is no way they paid anywhere close to that much and they certainly don't have that NIL structure set up yet. A&M didn't sign these kids on the promise of NIL money down the road, every team did that, they're just paying significant amounts of cash for visits & signatures.

We're all out here try to figure out how to pay people legally and they went full SMU in the 1980s.
