By the book, yes. At the end of reg season, they were the only undefeated standing.
By any practical reason, probably not. People can cry P5 bias all the want, but any G5 looks good when they rise above dogshit-level and their schedule is nothing but cupcakes.

Cincinnati played a softer schedule and were more rested than Bama and still lost by 3 tds.
