Shaq

I honestly am not sure you could find a better role model than Shaq, and even more impressively, he does a lot of his philanthropy behind the scenes, away from cameras.

Having met him a few times he really is genuine. Like a big kid. He used to buy an 18 wheeler trailer full of gifts for kids at one time.

The story he told about his dad whipping him when Len Bias died was eye opening. Shaq said his dad came into the room yelling at him about Bias and coke to which Shaq replied “dad I drink Pepsi” lol. His father wanted to warn him about the dangers of success long before Shaq had achieved it and though it may have been extreme in how he did it Mr. Harrison’s lessons molded Shaq to become the grounded person he is.
