People waiting too long to get boosters is putting us in a resurgence, but diminished symptoms for the new variant and lessened impact for the vaccinated mitigate any repeat of the worst part of the pandemic. I suspect we'll see some cancellations of ballgames but much less significant sequelae to those affected by the virus.

If it's getting less severe despite no one receiving the boosters, why bother getting one at all? Most people are not eager to receive another shot for the hell of it.

Are you giving credit for the new strains being less deadly to the vaccine?
Because that is just natural selection at work and it has nothing to do with the vaccine.
