Doesn’t have to be career ending to cost you millions. Especially if it causes you to drop in the draft or leads to issues that shorten your career.

And just because it doesn’t happen often doesn’t mean these kids in meaningless bowl games should risk it.

Is it selfish, sure. But I get it and don’t blame some of these kids for doing it.

Now, playoff games are different. Playing for a championship is a lot different than playing in the Birmingham Bowl.

How are the playoffs any different from these meaningless bowls? Those are extra games a player can get hurt and lose out on a lot of money.
