Evan Miya is another great basketball metrics/analytics website that is free. Maybe even deeper than any of the others, very cool stuff.

Per EvanMiya.com, here are where our 5-man lineups rank in the SEC in Addjusted Team Efficiencies with at least 15 possessions together (Top 3 and then our worst) (out of 96 total SEC lineups)
Adjusted Team Efficiency Margin
2. Alabama (Ellis/Gary/Gurley/Quinerly/Shackelford) (+110.7)
3. Alabama (Bediako/Davison/Ellis/Miles/Quinerly) (+98.4)
16. Alabama (Bediako/Ellis/Miles/Quinerly/Shackelford) (+62.8)
87. Alabama (Davison/Ellis/Gurley/Quinerly/Shackelford) (-30.1)
Adjusted Team Offensive Efficiency
1. Alabama (Ellis/Gary/Gurley/Quinerly/Shackelford) (177.5)
4. Alabama (Bediako/Davison/Ellis/Miles/Quinerly) (163.3)
10. Alabama (Bediako/Davison/Ellis/Miles/Shackelford) (137.8)
71. Alabama (Bediako/Davison/Ellis/Quinerly/Shackelford) (89.3)
Adjusted Team Defensive Efficiency
18. Alabama (Bediako/Davison/Ellis/Miles/Quinerly) (64.9)
20. Alabama (Ellis/Gary/Gurley/Quinerly/Shackelford) (66.8)
27. Alabama (Bediako/Ellis/Gurley/Quinerly/Shackelford) (71.6)
94. Alabama (Davison/Ellis/Gurley/Quinerly/Shackelford) (132.4)
Also, the Ellis/Gary/Gurley/Quinerly/Shackelford lineups is the most efficient offensive lineup amongst High Major teams in the entire country, not just the SEC (and #2 overall behind one of LSU's lineups). We've only used it so far on 18 offensive possessions.

My biggest takeaway was that Miles is every bit as effective as it feels like he is.
And Gary is Gary. Just instant impact across the board.

This is good stuff. These numbers show Miles has become a really good player for us so I’m not sure why he has the quickest hook from Oats.
