re: Braves sell Gwinnett, Rome, and Mississippi minor league teams

Can tell you some in Rome aren’t happy as that stadium was ONLY built because the Braves owned the team. The agreements to keep funding that stadium was built on that commitment.
The philosophy of moving all the minor league teams closer was a big change over the last 20 years.
I get financially why this makes sense for them with the way talent is now being developed internationally and at the college level.
Also get why MLB had to so something with so many teams having failing minor league programs.
The idea the teams will be owned by a private company and staff works for that company but not much will change is takeover BS. Off course things change and expectations will be very different.
