I want this to feel eerily similar to 2017-18 with Auburn

Trying to take away some positives here. We certainly won’t be the favorite if we play them a second time. We’ll definitely be out for revenge. We’ve got a lot of senior leaders who won’t let tonight’s game sit well with them. Saban gave us some bulletin board material with the whole “rat poison yummy” quote. They are most likely going to be without Metchie if it’s the torn ACL they are reporting. And our front 7 can’t play much worse/tight than they did tonight (if the Lanning rumors are true give Boom full access for the next month and see if he can’t cook something up). Not even going to get into the QB discussion at this point since there are enough other threads to go down that rabbit hole. Again trying to stay positive.

I tried posting the 2017 auburn 2 game result contrast already. Literally got called a king george redcoat sympathizer.

Not making that up. As if anyone could

Gotta do something different next time. The “we just need to do what we do” clearly won’t work vs that team we faced tonight.

Oh I agree we have to do something different, that’s why I put what I did about Boom taking over if Lanning is gone. Hopefully he doesn’t just sit back in zone and only rush 4. Also if JT is injured just tell us. Not like teams are scheming for two Qb’s from us anyway. If he’s not injured he should get the chance against Michigan and we see where he’s at. Their offense actually plays into our defensive strength for every other game this season but tonight, so I’d expect a turnaround in that regard. Still won’t work against Bama again though so we need to start implementing that game plan now.
