Any reason or thought behind why you would think this? Drink is bringing in a top 15 class (with upside to be a top 12 class nationally). To me this does not seem like he wants out, rather he is doubling down to build something here in COMO. I just feel like if he were already planning a next step it would show up on the recruiting trail results.

Lots of coaching carousel this year indeed, but there are lots of proven coaches out there that I would think are more front-and-center between the NCAA and NFL ranks but maybe thats just me. Would think the Tigers would start talking extension for Drink next year (year 3 of his 6 year contract)but I guess we will see.

He is still young, I think he's about the same age as Lincoln Riley. Now age is not important but mindset is important.. Long gone are the days of basically lifetime coaches like Bob Stoops, Kirk Ferentz, Pinkel, Bill Snyder, Gundy, etc..

They are constantly looking for a better situation and will jump quick when the opportunity comes up. He did only stay at App State for a year.

If he wins 10 games next year and puts up awesome offensive numbers and say hypothetically, a team like Oregon (or on that level) comes to ask him for a job for more money with better facilities and easier schedule... I think we all know the answer.
