The sunshine pumper in me is excited and thinking this will play out like the Mike Neighbors situation where he started following our administrators and players months before being hired.
The beaten hog fan in me is dreading that Norvell is talking our players into transferring to Memphis.

You need to see when he started following them. I'm not sure how you would do that but if he started following them recently (within the past month) then there probably is something to this. If he started following them years ago then it is probably more to him recruiting them out of high school.

I was lurking hogville and someone posted a few weeks ago that he started following our players and recruits. So I've known this was happening for a few weeks.

I think people should pump the breaks a bit on Norvell. I think dude is good, but he hasn't been in position long enough to know if he can maintain anything. I'm good with an up and comer and all, but I'd like to at least see him navigate a roster turnover. 2nd tier IMO.

My exact thoughts. If razorbronc is right and we are shooting for the moon then fuente, Gundy, etc are our targets.
Norvell is a good swing and miss candidate.

I just went and looked. He follows a ton of ark high school coaches. Hammonds, sosa, Patton, koilan jackson, all of the top instate prospects this year, emmit gooden, none of our Texas commits, he follows Luke Ford. Richard Davenport. He follows our rb commit from LA. Kofi boetang, the instate DE we signed last year. I'm not sure if it is just crossing paths from recruiting or what.
