This isn't their fault. Espn and companies do this on purpose to ask for a stupid amount of money or they won't put the channel back on. This happens to every carrier at different times of the year with various big channels.

Yeah but we pay them to give us live sports. I also am disgusted by their “we are just trying to look out for your bills not going up” lines. bullshite. You are going to raise prices just like every other damn thing that bills me over the last year.

I mean if you want everyone's bill to shoot up $40-$50 let them know. This while it can be infuriating wasn't started by them and unfortunately is how Disney and others love to work. They pull channels with zero notice and know people are going to be angry to put pressure on someone like charter to accept their new contract. They love to do it the day before the season starts or right at the playoffs.

Beware, they are racing their prices

You only get SECN, but no SECN Alt (for folks like Infinity and Spectrum only)

Good thing about Hulu live TV is you get access to ESPN+ so you can watch everything.

Disney/ESPN knows exactly what they're doing. This happens during football season because they figure cable companies will feel pressure from subscribers and fold to the Disney demands. So these companies can't agree and pass it on to the subscribers. Disney is the bully here. They want more money.

The price shooting up is baked into all the new contracts and acquisitions Disney has signed. It is inevitable. They’re in a pissing contest to extract the best deal for themselves, we are all paying more regardless.

I completed my cancellation request with Spectrum last night at 6:30 ... presently watching Marty and McGee on YTTV.

Good riddance forever to Spectrum streaming/cable.
