That wasn't deification, this was listing one (singular) plus that one had and the other didn't. And to be honest WW claimed going after recruits was something he decided upon after a phone call with Bo. That Bo told him in HS one player could take over a game, but at this level you had to surround yourself with talent.
Too bad it took coming and going to figure that one out.

I’m liking this place. A few have enough sense to understand that Gus and Harsin blew having a generational talent at QB. A damn legacy, at that.
