So Zona coach Sean Miller was recorded talking about 100k payments to Deandre Ayton

I was trying to tell people during the whole Bruce not cooperating scandal that no other school outside AU is pushing coaches to cooperate. Friend was telling me about Zona specifically that Sean Miller hadnt cooperated w anything

What you just said isn't particularly comforting.

Nah, I meant no big name coach was cooperating or even being asked hard questions.

Bruce has a legit reason for not wanting to cooperate given his history + tone of Samford hall. We also werent connected to the other indictments + not an Adidas/Nike

The fact that AU hasnt had any connection to records being keaked is a positive

Let's just hope there is no recorded phone conversation with Bruce or emails that get leaked.

Someone has started feeding the media the discovery and I suspect more to come out.

FBI has said from day 1 that Pearl isn't a focus and it was mainly Person

What is potentially very interesting is didn’t USCw conduct and finish their internal investigation before they just got slammed by the FBI again? If there was cooperation to the internal investigation, the coach probably hung himself.

As it relates to federal crimes. That doesn't mean there might not be something on a wiretap or in an email or some other document that could get AU and Bruce in trouble with the NCAA.

No doubt that's a possibility but I'd imagine if there was a hint of NCAA issues Pearl wouldn't be coaching.

You forget how anal our compliance staff is

I have a hard time believing the NCAA will bite the revenue stream that feeds it other than a few ineligible declarations and scholarship deductions. Too many big programs involved and the NCAA is well aware who generates their revenue

Auburn clinches a share of the SEC today with either a Tennessee loss to Ole Miss or a win against Florida.

If both happen, we’ve won it outright.

I really want us to clinch it outright over the next two games

That way the team comes back into town for South Carolina to a hero’s welcome

Yep. We had this duo earlier in the year and they were unbearable then too. The color analyst Barry Booker is awful. Taylor Zarzour isn't any better either
