rebuilding roster

We just beat Arkansas by 20+. You don't do that with a bad roster. It's not the best roster but we have enough pieces to be able to compete with anyone. It's up to the coach to put those pieces together and get them to play hard as a team. He did that last night and I'll give him credit for it but if we had played with that same level of urgency in our first two conference games we'd be 3-0.

I dont understand last night's win very much.

I need more proof that Murphy will be an inside out presence.

I am loving some Jovic though. He is maturing before our eyes and we need to keep mini Hansborough

Defense is killing us. There was definitely more focus on this yesterday but still so many missed switches, rotations. Aside from that, who are the 1-2 guys that want to mix it up, defensively/physically/mentally. We had at least 3 last year.

I haven’t watched a ton from top to horn… but are we still running the flex offense? Haven’t seen it, what offense are we running?

Side take… Pettiford, while better last night (maybe his best so far), is closer to an “And 1” player than someone running our offense. Lot of terrible turnovers… Skills to be better than Harper but is forcing the game way too much.

We need a psychopath on the court who will rile the opponents up.

Not sure who that is. May be Freeman

Yes. But a modified version.

We got spoiled the last couple of years. Not from a talent level, but from a teamwork standpoint. Last years team had played together so much that each one knew exactly what every other player was going to do, every time. With only one returning player, Pearl has his work cut out for him to mold them into a team. Yesterday was a big step towards that.
