Just my ,opinion but what has he done outside of Pavia and Jerry Kill?

Well, he did hire Kill and Lea is a defensive minded coach. Vandy’s defense is solid and Kill and Pavia don't defense.

And you are now back to the idiotic argument that apparently the HC of a football team is just a guy who stands on the sideline with a headset on and does nothing to impact their team's performance

Please quote where I've said that.

I dont know why you're all upset that I dont think Clark Lea is a great coach without Pavia, Beck, and Kill. And I know Kill is a consultant, I stated so in this very thread.

Lea is a solid defensive guy and he even handed off his defensive play calling duties to two guys this season. But without the consulting of Kill and the play of Pavia, and Beck's playcalling/gameplannig, Lea is just another coach. I give him full credit for seizing the opportunity to hire Beck and Kill and bring in Pavia. Of course the HC does more than stand around. That's stupid and I never said that.

As far as NMSU not tearing through whatever conference they're in, Jerry Kill almost died and took a few years off. He jumped back in at a school that has never won. And he got back in at a time when NIL became a thing. So they had to take everyone else's leftovers. And its slim pickings already, then you have to convince those players to come to Las Cruces, New Mexico...

Including the Texas game, they give up 25 more yards per game than us.

Dude, I didn't say they were great, but, by your metric, they are better than:

Florida
Mississippi
USC
ATm
Miss State
Kentucky
Tennessee
Arkansas

I'll be there and will enjoy my daughter talking smack after watching Vandy win two years in a row, in person.

Auburn, yes Auburn, may have the most stable administrative alignment among the open SEC jobs right now. LINK
