That's laughable.

Trinity is set up as an athletic school and is better. Montgomery Academy is not better than St James.

How do you even compare all the schools with the different area?

MA had a horrible athletics program when I was in high school at ACA.

Guess it all depends on the era. When I was in high school, Robert E. Lee dominated the state in the big 3 sports, and MA had the best athletic programs among private schools.

ETA: MA also has a 4-2-1 record in football vs. ACA even though MA is 2A and ACA is 4A...MA is also 10-2 vs. ACA in basketball and 20-2 vs. STJ in basketball, Also MA leads 4-1 in soccer, ACA does lead in baseball 8-3, so you have that going for you..

That must have been a while back..ACA used to be great at girls softball, decent in baseball, but sucked in everything else. (Note ACA has a great Junior baseball player that will be going to bama) MA has won almost 60 state championships (lots of golf, tennis, track and field, but also one football and one baseball)

In the fall Montgomery Academy was ranked as the top sports school in Alabama according to MaxPreps.com, as MaxPreps tallies schools from across the country's accomplishments in the fall sports season.

The Eagles won state championships in volleyball and boys and girls cross country in the fall. MA's football team also advanced to the state quarterfinals. ...

Since then both girls and boys teams are in the final 4 in soccer. The boys won Tennis (girls second), girls won Track and Field (Boys Second),

With chizik at the helm we wouldn't have. Scott set his career back a decade under chizik. He wasn't ready for a major program and chizik gave him the plays to run after the Clemson game. Not saying Scott is great but 2012 wasn't his offense.

First time hearing this. His MO didn't exactly change coaching VTech last year. Offense still lagged behind most of the ACC.
