This isn’t necessarily true. They have access to a lot of cash. The AD ( very unpopular) has made a lot of headlines with his comments but he had a lot of assurances that the money would follow
I’ve personally put money into CU when I lived there and know quite a few of their boosters. They’re excited and willing to spend. I haven’t talked to them since this season started but this is what they wanted to see
Just my thoughts. I’m probably uniquely positioned to comment on CU, at least among AU fans
