I think they are going to be doing much more fundraising then they think they are. I don’t feel the need to talk to, get a picture, or autograph from Tank Bigsby. But I have no doubt that our of our alumni we can get 20,000 alumnus to donate 1k a month to football.

But sounds like this company is going to baseline a lot and sounds like market price for OL is going to be around 50k. So Auburn is going to try to pay them about 4K a month which would be 48k a year with no taxes. Not sure how they are getting around that but who knows. Have no idea what it means to be a starter compared to a 3rd string. Bir for now that’s the only baseline we have heard about. Can we compete dollar for dollar if some programs want to go crazy with? I doubt it but for the most part I think we will have the money to compete as ridiculous is that is.

Can NLI donations become another prerequisite to season tickets or is that illegal. At this point fans can determine what kind of product they want to see on the field.

I remember reading about Clemson’s “I pay ten a year” fundraiser that really took off, but I also know NLI is not school sponsored.

Yeah I’m not sure they can tie it to ticket sales because that would require university intervention. I think it has to be handled by this company which is only acting in my opinion as some type of agent.

I can’t imagine playing a game I worked so hard to get to a prestigious school and the. Getting paid 50-100k to plus free meals, training, and school. Yes I know some other sports doesn’t have full scholarships.
