I got to say while Shivers is not our top 1 or 2 backs he does bring some energy when he is in and runs hard this year than past years.

The nod definitely goes to the defense. Apparently some things were ironed out to make this group more efficient at stopping the run. I would like to see more gang tackling though.
Offensively ....we were spot on when it mattered. The Defensive backfield for LSU is a dire mess right now. My how the mighty have fallen so fast. They are playing street ball and not disciplined smart ball. The best overview I've seen was from a defensive mind Gene Chizik ....The Defensive Backs act like they are lost in the weeds. But we were on target and took advantage of their multiple miscues. Hopefully we learn during the two week healing and come out with a roar this coming week.
