Come on guys, this has gone on long enough. If 2pac and Biggie can swallow their pride long enough to make Runnin together then surely we can all agree to disagree and move on from some of these old beefs.

What happened after that? Terrible example as Biggie and Pac were buddies before Biggie had Pac gunned down.

Ok so you kept your head buried under the sand, you made up NIL BS, and want to say I don’t know shite. How pathetic.

Went back and checked a few 2021 game threads - there was one poster who consistently blamed Bo for all of our troubles, and dozens - myself included - who excused him for rampant WR drops, missed blocks, and poor playcalling by the OC, as well as praised him effusively when his talent and ability almost single-handedly bailed us out, like in the LSU game.

Since this is the only AU board I frequent now, that's all I have to go on.

BTW, I read his wife's IG post that you linked. Where does it blame the fanbase for him entering the portal?

Sorry, not sorry.

I have since admitted that while I don't think Bo was all that, he was the best we had and would be the best we had this year if he stayed and more blame should have been put on Bobo and Harsin.

he left because the fanbase talked shite about him remember? I memeber

BS. I was in those threads. I remember them conversations well. I still remember the TJ Finley four horsemen.

AuSteeler, Rhino5, AUCE05, Greygoose, Pete, etc created whiny posts (and threads) begging him to leave.

Many went after Bo.

Only a few defended Bo: MrAuTigers, Chex, Weagle25, and only a couple more defended Bo. There were no dozens.

Mom speaks out of emotion and it becomes the main factor in your eyes.

Then the tears dry and you can see the real reasons of why he left.

Oregon has better OL (considered to be one of the top ones in 22), better WR's, an OC he already has played for instead of another new one, and possibly NIL could have played a part, I mean since so many others did. I don't buy the Pat angle, and don't really care.

Oregon has a better outlook in 22 than Auburn does. He already has his degree, but we can pretend/speculate it was all about the Auburn fans.

Rocky from Denver doesn’t know the real reasons while mom, sister, and fiancé don’t know anything.

Auburn kids and starting Auburn QBs don’t just leave... At least since the millennium when I started watching. Same for coaches. They don’t willingly leave.

The transfer portal has never been more active and guess what? They are eligible right away.

Welcome to the new world of college football. I listened to what Bo Nix said.

By the way, 4 starting QB's transferred to a Pac 12 team alone this year.

I can name two HC's from historically top 5 schools that willingly walked away just this year.

Sure they do.

They leave when they feel they have accomplished all of the goals they felt they could.

Sometimes after they have record-breaking championship seasons, when they’re the projected #1 pick.

Sometimes when they feel like they are prepared enough to take the next step and try for a pro career.

Sometimes after they graduate, having done all they feel they can do and want to take advantage of other opportunities.

Of course sometimes they are booed, cursed, and ridiculed mercilessly by the fanbase, and become a permanent punchline for their failure to live up to their lofty expectations. But even under those horrific circumstances, sometimes they show loyalty to their school and finish out their careers.

All of the above scenarios happened in the last millennium, IOW since you became an AU fan.

Bo clearly chose path #3. Good for him.

And yet we had a Broyles Award-winning DC make a lateral move days after an undefeated season during the time you’ve been an AU fan. Were you just not paying attention?

A DC leaving? Geez is that your biggest gotcha? Name the last HC that has willing left Auburn.
